Meet the Team

Kevan Blackadder

BID Director

Kevan heads the BID team and was previously Cheltenham’s Town Centre Manager.

He was editor of the Gloucestershire Echo from 2008 until 2014, after being assistant editor of the Bristol Post. He started his career as a reporter on his home-town newspaper, the Whitehaven News in Cumbria.

He is a trustee of Gloucestershire Crimestoppers and sits on the Local Organising Committee of Gloucestershire School Games and the advisory board of Gloucestershire All Golds’ rugby league club.


Belinda Hunt

BID Operations Manager

Belinda’s background is in Administration Management and Corporate Social Responsibility.

She has helped many national and international blue chip companies to develop their Employee Engagement and Community Investment strategies.

She has lived and worked in Gloucestershire for more than 20 years.

Maria Marriott

Maria has a Digital Marketing, Leisure Management and Dance Education teaching background.

She has run her own Personal Training, Tutoring and Assessment business in the UK alongside managing a housing project for the homeless and vulnerable.

She is currently the Publicity Officer for the Playhouse Theatre company and manages all social media and events.

Maria also enjoys acting in her spare time.

Carolyn Griswold


Carolyn’s background in customer facing positions gives her the experience to be an integral part of the team of Ambassadors.

She shares her enthusiasm for Cheltenham with visitors and businesses alike and enjoys helping people make the most of our town.

    Mimi Chasebi


    Mimi is a postgraduate student studying Occupational Psychology at The University of Gloucestershire.

    She is experienced in working in customer facing roles and has an excellent understanding of the type of support businesses need from our Ambassadors.

    Mimi is passionate about Cheltenham and believes it has so much to offer everyone.

      Deborah Goodman


      Deb has previously worked as a Resident Estate Manager and as a Teaching Assistant in Primary schools where she supporting SEN children on a 1:1 basis.

      She has experience is customer facing roles and has an excellent understanding of Cheltenham.

      Deb enjoys playing tenor sax, singing and even a bit of Ballroom dancing
