Meet the Team

Phil Cook


Phil’s experience in working with people is a valuable asset as a BID ambassador.  He has experince in dealing with vulnerable people as well working in a customer focused role.

Phil has worked in Cheltenham for many years, having once been a key memeber of staff at The Odeon.  Keeping with the theme, Phil now also works part-time at The Everyman Theatre.

    Kevan Blackadder

    BID Director

    Kevan heads the BID team and was previously Cheltenham’s Town Centre Manager.

    He was editor of the Gloucestershire Echo from 2008 until 2014, after being assistant editor of the Bristol Post. He started his career as a reporter on his home-town newspaper, the Whitehaven News in Cumbria.

    He is a trustee of Gloucestershire Crimestoppers and sits on the Local Organising Committee of Gloucestershire School Games and the advisory board of Gloucestershire All Golds’ rugby league club.

    Belinda Hunt

    BID Operations Manager

    Belinda’s background is in Administration Management and Corporate Social Responsibility.

    She has helped many national and international blue chip companies to develop their Employee Engagement and Community Investment strategies.

    She has lived and worked in Gloucestershire for more than 20 years.

    Carolyn Griswold


    Carolyn’s background in customer facing positions gives her the experience to be an integral part of the team of Ambassadors.

    She shares her enthusiasm for Cheltenham with visitors and businesses alike and enjoys helping people make the most of our town.

      Mimi Chasebi


      Mimi is a postgraduate student studying Occupational Psychology at The University of Gloucestershire.

      She is experienced in working in customer facing roles and has an excellent understanding of the type of support businesses need from our Ambassadors.

      Mimi is passionate about Cheltenham and believes it has so much to offer everyone.
