Travel to work in Cheltenham for just £11 a week

Stage Coach Offer for Cheltenham Bid

Cheltenham BID has organised a money-saving deal for staff of all our businesses.

In an exclusive arrangement with Stagecoach, staff working at BID businesses will be able to travel in the Cheltenham area on a ticket that will cost just £11 and which they can use for seven days. There are similar savings to be made across Gloucestershire.

BID Director Kevan Blackadder said: “This is a great way for town centre staff to save money, while easing the pressure on parking spaces at the same time.”

Stagecoach managing director Rupert Cox said the company was delighted to be working with the BID. “We are keen to support Cheltenham businesses and their staff and want to see use of our services in the town continue to grow.”

Staff will be able to buy both weekly and monthly passes for use in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and beyond from Tuesday November 1.

The full details of the prices are:

Mr Blackadder said: “The deal will help staff already using Stagecoach’s services but we hope it will also encourage many others to look at travelling to work by bus. Compared to the cost of using a car to get to work, the weekly or monthly tickets will represent a significant saving.”

Staff must buy the tickets from Stagecoach’s Travel Shop at 229 High Street, Cheltenham, with confirmation of who they are employed by. They will need to complete a form and have it signed by an authorised manager.  To find out more you can download the form here.
