Make it a late one

On Thursday December 5th, Cheltenham will be glowing with festive spirit when businesses stay open late.

If free parking and free bus travel aren’t enough to draw the crowds, the live entertainment the BID has lined up will be.

The talented Thomas Trilby will be juggling through the town on his unicycle; Popular female vocalist, Betsy Goodman will be returning to Cheltenham as will the delightful Cheltenham Children’s Choir.  Theatre Studio will be bringing drama, dance and singing to the streets. Teen Open Mic star, Abigail Pearce, is set to make her Cheltenham debut along with a brass trio.

We’ll be promoting all your in-store events, entertainment and offers across our social media channels and have set up an event on our Facebook pages at @OurChelt and @CheltenhamBID. Here’s just a few examples of what’s going on:

House of Fraser will have a festive night of live music, Christmas makeovers and gift-wrapping services.

Oasis on High Street will be offering festive prosecco and nibbles.

At Whitestuff, customers can listen to a festive choir, sip gin and nibble mince pies whilst they browse a selection of handmade charity Christmas cards.

Mistral in Regent Arcade are holding a shopping event with up to 40% off and a complimentary glass of mulled wine. Meanwhile, in the arcade itself the Parcel Rascels will be passing a large present to shoppers that they’ll unwrap to find a gift between layers and be encouraged to pass it on to the next customer.

What will you be doing? Whether it’s prosecco or parcel wrapping, please let us know so we can list it on our social media channels and tell you how to upload it onto VisitCheltenham.com for FREE.
