The last of this summer’s street football events will be on Saturday September 16.
Throughout the summer Cheltenham (BID) has put on two great games in Cambray Place for young – and not so young- football fans.
Inflatable football kit has seen youngsters challenge each other to see who can get the ball moving fastest in the Speedshot. We’ve had some delighted winners taking home specially designed t-shirts.
On the High Street, at the top of Cambray Place we had the panna cage which gave competitors the chance to take on their friends in direct 1v1 game. Then we had ‘Footpool’, a combination of Football and Pool which proved very popular with families.
BID Director Kevan Blackadder said: “We’re keen to encourage more families to come to Cheltenham town centre and think these games will prove popular.
“We had a great response when we held the Street Chilli Fiesta in Cambray Place at the start of June and hope the activities from Streetwise Soccer prove just as popular.”
The games will be open from 10am-4.30pm on September 16.
