Cheltenham Christmas Launch

Thursday 16 November 4pm – 7pm will see the launch of Christmas 2023 in Cheltenham!
On behalf of Cheltenham BID, we invite you to join us to celebrate the start of the festive season with roaming characters and live entertainment, bringing joy and fun to the people of Cheltenham.
On Thursday 16 November the BID will bring the festive season to life as the lights come on around town. Choirs, dancers and ice skaters will be joined by juggling elves, stilt walking angels and even a polar bear to entertain children and adults alike all over town from 4pm until 7pm.
As dusk falls thousands of twinkling Christmas lights will come on throughout the town centre. From traditional motifs on lamp columns and fairy lights in trees, this year will also bring some new designs to launch the first Cheltenham Christmas Lights Trail.

From 16 Nov – 22 Dec children will also be able to take part in the Christmas Elf Trail and competition. Sixteen cheeky elves will be hiding in windows around Cheltenham town centre. Take the first letter of each elf’s name and solve the festive anagram to be in with a chance of winning a £100 Cheltenham BID gift card.
