At part of the BID’s commitment to constantly seek to improve efficienchy and effectiveness, new Articles of Association were adopted for term 2 (2021 – 2026) by Written Resolution on December 14 2021.

Baseline and Operating Agreements

In developing the BID proposal, extensive consultation was carried out with Cheltenham Borough Council over a number of aspects and the Borough Council have consistently supported the BID. Specifically, we  worked with the Council in assessing the levels of service which are currently provided by the public sector in the town, which led to the development of agreed ‘Baseline’ levels of operation. The BID will deliver additional activities over and above this level of service. We have also drawn up an Operating Agreement, which details the proposed arrangements for BID levy collection.

Governance and Board Roles and Responsibilities

The BID is governed by a board of directors who represent levy paying businesses from each sector of the BID.  The role of a BID board director is a voluntary one.
