Cheltenham Cocktail Week success!

We worked together with Pernod Ricard UK to bring you Cheltenham Cocktail Week.

Bars, hotels and pubs across Cheltenham pulled out all the stops to bring a week full of liquor-filled treats to the public.

Cheltenham Cocktail Week set off on Monday 14 May with our Absolut Vodka Opening Party at Aquavitae and finished on Saturday 19 May with the Closing Party sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey at The Clarence Social.

The other venues that held events were John Gordon’s, Queens Hotel, Lily Gins, Revolution, Smokey Joe’s and Door 4 Montpellier.

Attendees learnt about their favourite whiskies, enjoyed classy cocktails and even made their own gin.

Montpellier Wine Bar, Soho bar, Under The Prom and COCO all supported the event by offering the Cheltenham Trio of cocktails that were exclusive to our Cheltenham Cocktail Week.

Pernod Ricard UK’s Business Development Executive, Keli Toseafa, said: “Cheltenham Cocktail Week 2018 has been a fantastic way to showcase the great bars and talented bartenders that Cheltenham has to offer. The town has been so engaging and interested and I am glad to see they had as much fun as we did! Thank you so much to Cheltenham Bid for supporting us in this event and I’m looking forward to next year!”.

Owner of Door 4, Tom Noori, said: “”For the second Year running our Perrier Jouët Afternoon Tea was sold out! 63 people joined me for an afternoon of 4 Champagnes alongside an array of cakes, sandwiches and petit fours. Everyone was attentive and engaged and we had an incredible group of people, 16 of which came from last year, showing the value for money really brought people back. We’ve already looked at how we can up the anti for next year and make it even bigger and even better!”
