A huge increase in Cheltenham’s footfall

An ice rink, a Christmas market, magical chracters and sparkling lights all proved a great success when it came to Cheltenham’s festive offering. Along with some of the best places in the South West to shop, eat, drink and meet, Cheltenham proved popular for locals and visitors alike.

Despite Plan B coming into force towards the end of December, the festive shopping period in Cheltenham saw an increase of almost 50 percent footfall compared with the same period pre-pandemic.
